NOCTA | SPLIT UP
Greek heavy metallers NOCTA finally split-up. The band’s creative core, the 2 guitarists, Kostas Kuriakopoulos (member of Nightfall also) and Ares Kolomvatsos, will soon return with a new project and new sounds. As about their unreleased album “Lethe Und Erevos”, it will be release by Sleaszy Rider this fall. This band’s requiem will be release only in limited edition of 500 copies worldwide!

Brazilian Dark act OF THE ARCHAENGEL finish the studio activities for their debut album on Sleaszy Rider Recs called "The Extraphysicallia".

The Greek artist Seth Siro Anton signs the artwork design for this upcoming release.
The band is with a fresh line-up after welcomes the guitar player Kleber Fabianni as replacement for Timo Kaarkoski at the lead guitars.

Recently OF THE ARCHAENGEL supported Opeth (April, 09) and Paradise Lost in São Paulo, Brazil.

SANGRE ETERNA | FESTIVAL AND STUDIO NEWS
SANGRE ETERNA will perform at 10th July 2009 at EXPLOSIVE Metal Stage on Exit Festival in Novi Sad and share the same stage with Kataklysm, Keep Of Kalessin, Deathstars, My Dying Bride, Death Angel, Sabaton, Cripple Bastards, Walls Of Jericho, The Red Chord.

After EXIT Festival Sangre Eterna will finish the recordings for their second album "ASPHYXIA" in Serbia and after that they will head to Helion Studio in Germany (Atargatis, Equilibrium, Lunar Aurora, Sycronomica, Darkseed...) where post-production will be done.

Sangre Eterna will from now on be endorsed König & Meyer. Since Ilija Stevanovic is using K&M's Spyder Pro Keyboard Stand - family König & Meyer agreed to support Sangre Eterna as their official endorser. The band’s statement follows below:

BRING YOUR OWN KNIFE | ARTWORK REVEALED
Swedish death metallers BRING YOUR KNIFE are in the final steps to be ready for their debut album “End”. Today we present you the front-cover of the album, a very nice job that was made by Spanish artist Juanjo Castellano. The band wanted him to integrate the style of Marvel's comic books with his own dark and depressive way of doing art. ASHES YOU LEAVE's new album "Songs of the Lost" will be release on March 23rd through Sleaszy Rider. "Songs of the Lost" is the group's first album in seven years (and fifth overall).
The album will be release as a limited edtion deluxe digipack, designed by Swedish artist Andreas Söderlund at mtGrave.com.
In March 7th 2008, Ashes You Leave supported the legendary Danny Cavanagh (Anathema) at the club Mochvara, Zagreb-Croatia and on that occasion performed their first and only acoustic show in the acts 14-year history. Video footage of that rare and very special event is now available for viewing at their Myspace site.

RICKY WARWICK has 2 songs featured in the new movie “Who Killed Nancy?” directed by Alan Parker. The 2 songs are "Three Sides To Every Story" and" Tattoos & Alibis", both songs are taken from Ricky's debut 2003 solo album "Tattoos & Alibis". The movie will premier on Feb 2nd 2009- The 30th Anniversary of Sid Vicious' death. At the Prince Charles Cinema, West End, London. It opens in UK cinemas on Feb 6th.

By the way, his “Love Owes” EP will release through Sleaszy Rider Records in the few next months. Ricky will do a mini-tour again in UK and some more gigs in USA, the dates are announced in our “GIGS” section.

Ricky has contributed guitar on 2 tracks on the forthcoming Guns 'n' Roses keyboardist Dizzy Reed's solo album. He has also co-wrote the song "This Don't Look Like Vegas" with Dizzy and Del James."

DUSTER 69 | SPLIT-UP
After 9 years, 4 full-length cds, 4 professional video-clips, 4 split-releases and vinyl singles and a lot of compilation contributions (Rock Hard Magazine Germany, People Like you Stoner compilation to mention a few) the guys decided to end the chapter of DUSTER 69. They are still proud about the last years and they would like to thank all the fans and supporters from 1999-2008:

Serbian symphonic blacksters SANGRE ETERNA have a line-up change. Here is the statement that band posted:

“Srdjan Golubica is no longer member of Sangre Eterna, we would like to thank him for supporting and working with us in 2007/2008. Also to add that our old band/family member Milos Armus is now our drummer. Welcome back!”

Their debut album “Amor Vincit Omnia” will be release in the few next weeks. Sangre Eterna will enter the studio in October to record 11 songs for their second album "Asphyxia".

By the way, their guitarist Sander just got his ENGL endorsement, after playing ENGL amps for some year, he is now co-operating with them, he soon will play the "Special Edition" version from this major amp brand.
The band got already in June an endorsement deal with Peavey and Intune guitar picks.

SOLAR FRAGMENT | DORTMUND’S BEST BAND?
German power metallers SOLAR FRAGMENT has been chosen to take part in a band contest "Dortmund sucht die Superband". Sloppy translation: their hometown Dortmund is searching for its best band.
The concept of this competition is a bit like "Pop Idol" or "American Idol". During the European football championship's quarter finals, 16 bands of all styles will compete on a huge stage on "Friedensplatz" square, in the middle of the city center. A jury will decide which bands will make it into the next round.
Looks like SOLAR FRAGMENT will be the only Heavy Metal representatives. Their gig will take place Thursday, 19th June at 7 pm. So mark that in your calendar and if you're around and let's turn Peace Square into a battlefield.

German progressive/atmospheric metallers RE-VISION signed a deal with Sleaszy Rider Records and their fourth album "Chapter IV: All for the Sake of Love" will be release in a few months.
The album was recorder at Dead Soul Temple Studio in Vienna, produced by Devon Graves (Dead Soul Tribe, ex-Psychotic Waltz), mixed and mastered at Gernhart Studio by Martin Buchwalter (Perzonal War, Squealer).
RE-VISION present 14 songs (incl. one cover-tune), among that 3 tracks with additional lead vocals or backing voices by Mister Graves himself, which will haunt and mesmerize you for sure. Goose-bumps guaranteed.

W.E.B. | VIDEO SHOOT
W.E.B. has shoot 2 video clips for their new album "Jesus Heist".

"We are all very tired but the outcome is gonna be a blast. The songs we made are "Blossoms' Cry" and "Enthorned" and they were directed by Bob Katsionis of Firewind who gave his best to make them both look like Hell-awesome."

John Tsilidis (jt3) was kind enough to come down both days of the shooting and take some really cool pics of the band. Photos from the photo session you can see below and get a small idea of the whole thing.
