Greek hard ’n’ heavy rockers DOUBLE TREAT signed a deal with Sleaszy Rider and their superb debut album “Wander Thirst” will be released April 5, 2013.
Double Treat are only 2 persons, but both well-known in the Greek music-industry: Sotiris Lagonikas and Chris Kissadjekian, both founder members of What’s The Buzz?, who released their self-titled debut album in 2000.
In addition to this, as a solo artist, Sotiris Lagonikas has released the melodic prog-rock albums “SL Theory –I” (2010) and “Progressively Dark” (2012), while Chris Kissadjekian remains a founding member of the heavy doomsters Infidel, who released “I, Oathbreaker” (2006) and “King Of Cynical Control” (2011).

OVERTURES | LINE-UP CHANGES AND MORE
Amazing Italian metallers OVERTURES have some important news to share with all of you. Their statement follows below:
"As you may have noticed from the pics taken during the last shows, it is some months already that two new faces have been on the stage in Overtures' line up: after more than 9 years together, both former members Daniele Piccolo and Marco Falanga – for personal reasons that the whole band understands and accepts – had to give up the stage. Marco and Daniele have been two of the guys who created Overtures, they helped the band in its growing up, they have been vital in the development of the sound and it is thanks to the choices made together that Overtures reached some important goals. They are and they will always be part of Overtures' history and part of the family, and we all wish them all the best! At the same time we are really proud to announce that STEFANO D'AMORE and ADRIANO CRASNICH will officially take their place as stable members of the band. Stefano D'Amore already was the lead guitarist of Speed, Adriano Crasnich already plays with Frame of Pain and Hammered. Since a few months they already are part of Overtures and as you may have heard (and seen) during the last shows, their great taste and their good choices let the band continue its course exactly where it was stopped with the previous members, without changing or modifying anything. Both Stefano and Adriano already took part in the recordings of the third album ENTERING THE MAZE, that will be released in the first half of 2013 with our label Sleaszy Rider Records. At the same time we are happy to announce that the recordings are actually over: in the next days we will close the mixing of the album to pass, in a few weeks, to the mastering process.
There are some more important news yet: we are really pleased to announce the new collaboration between Overtures and the German agency B.MUSIK MANAGEMENT, that will be pub in charge of the booking and management of the band. B.Musik boasts in its rooster Iron Savior, Athorn, Elvenking and worked with Edguy, Rage, Hammerfall, Gotthard and many others."

OVERTURES | STUDIO-REPORT
Italian power metallers OVERTURES have now begun the recordings for their third album "Entering the Maze". 10 brand new songs (which are composed during the last two years) are being recorded at DM Studios in Gorizia, Italy and the whole work is scheduled to be ready within the end of October 2012.
"The new songs sound a little bit heavier and they definitely have a few more progressive influences", stated frontman Michele Guaitoli, "but at the same time we also worked a lot on orchestrations, synths, choruses and all the elements that made Rebirth something with its own personal style. Some of you may have already heard the demos of the three songs we released during the tour... well, they're good examples of what you can expect from the new album.
More details and some very important news will be announced during the next weeks, keep in touch and stay metal!"
COLD COLOURS | STUDIO-REPORT
American heavy/doom metallers COLD COLOURS will start the recordings of their next, untitled album yet, at "14:59" Studios in Minneapolis with Will Maravelas as producer.
Among the new tracks are titles like "Silent Speech," "A Loss of Faith", "The Process of Dying" and "Cold Colours", a cover of Rotting Christ's track.
The band is going to release their darkest album yet.
By the way, as a reminder, the band is shooting the second video-clip for "Daylight" a trackfrom their last album "The Great Depression". The sound-mastering of this video will be made by the legendary Swedish musician and producer DAN SWANÖ (Edge Of Sanity etc).

Croatian doom/gothic masters ASHES YOU LEAVE have some important line-up changes. Bass -player Luka Petrovic commented official regarding their news:
''After a long and extensive search we finally completed the line up for the new album. It's always difficult to replace band members, but it's especially difficult to find a new singer for the band. It wasn't easy to find a suitable person to fill the shoes of a talented singer as Tamara was, but also to find someone to carry on a 16 year old legacy. Thus the search went beyond the borders of Croatia and after listening to all the auditions and the recordings it all pointed to one person. Giada "Jade" Etro comes from Italy and she is an amazing singer and person who already recorded with several Italian bands, but this will be the first time for her to record as a lead singer.
Our new drummer is Armando Floricic, a young drummer who is already well known in metal circles in Croatia. A force yet to be reckoned with!
I would like to thank everybody who contacted us and auditioned for us. To all the amazing vocalists we jammed with thank you for your enthusiasm and professionalism. You made this a really tough choice!''

SHOWSTRIPSILENCE | NEW SIGNING
Sleaszy Rider Rec. signed a deal for 3 albums with Italians SHOWSTRIPSILENCE. They began their career in 2004 thanks to the two founders, the singer / guitarist Gento and the bassplayer Wallace, who created a sound which was a mix of punk hardcore and rock 'n' roll supported by the drumming of Ben and the guitar of Sleazy. In 2006 the band recorded the first full length ”Monsters and Humans: horrorific and all new” that was released by Italian Graves Records followed by tours in England and Germany. ShowStripSilence shared the stage with bands such as Orange Goblin, U.S. Bombs, Backyard Babies, Wednesday 13 and played the opening gigs for Misfits' 2010 Italian tour.
At the end of 2010, after finishing the recording of the second full lenght, following some disagreements in the band, Ben and Sleazy left, and a new drummer and guitar player, Chicco and Luke, joined the group. These laters adapted perfectly to the band bringing new ideas and realising new 100% rock'n'roll style songs!
Their second album, yet untitled, will be release worldwide by Sleaszy Rider soon. Stay tuned!

Greek guitar hero THEODORE ZIRAS finished the recordings of his 5th studio album “Monster 5” and it will be release at the end of September 2011.
The album contains 11 tracks and the track-listing is the following:
“Tearing Apart”, “Chaos I. M. F.”, Liquid Fire”, “Alex Left The Building”, “Future Waves”, “1923”, “Into The Rush”, “Paradigma”, “Transition Game”, “Mess”, “Monster 5”.
Except Theodore of course, who played all guitars and bass guitars, you will hear drummer CHRISTIAN NATIVO (VANISHING POINT) as full member and as guest musicians participate SERGEY BOYKOV (keyboards, Shadow Cry) and ANDY JAMES (guitars, Sacred Mother Tongue).

The band is fusing melodic death metal and blackened thrash in an apocalyptic sci-fi experience in the tradition of DARKANE, ZYKLON, DIMENSION ZERO and HYPOCRISY. Painstakingly crafted to harness the raw aggression of extreme metal within the lyrical theme of each song, "The Science of Self-Defeat" demands the listener’s full attention. The album will be released this summer.
THY SYMPHONY | NEW LINE UP
Brazilian symphonic metallers THY SYMPHONY annonce their new drummer, Eric Fleming. Guitarist Marcello Valsesia’s says about this line-up change: "We are very happy about Eric, he's a great drummer and an excellent person".

THURISAZ | NEW SIGNING
Belgium-based metallers THURISAZ have inked a deal with Greece's Sleaszy Rider Records for the release of the band's third album, "The Cimmerian Years". Due in May, the CD was recorded and mixed at CCR Studio in Zulte, Belgium with producer Kris Belean and featuring guest vocals by PAUL KUHR (NOVEMBERS DOOM) and THOMAS A.G. JENSEN (SATURNUS) among others! The artwork was created by the Dutch artist Geert van Mook and can be viewed below.
Regarding what fans can expect from the new album, the band said, "One could say it's gonna be a known mixture of styles, yet so very different... It's gonna be the known combination of different vocals, yet so very different... It's gonna be the known soundscapes of bombast and melody, yet again so very different... Let's just say, it will sound familiar and it won't..."

UNDERDARK | TOUR FINISHED
Polish band Underdark (together with ukrainian band Castrum) has just finished the Dark Unity Tour which covered 6 concerts in Ukraine and Hungary.
They did thousands of kilometers to played amazing concerts as a headliner, with definitely the best show in Underdark's history (Vinnitsa in Ukraine). Band promoted the "In The Name of Chaos" album and has been warmly welcomed by fans. Photos and a "tour journey" can be found on www.underdark.pl

Sadly the german metallers re-Vision has split up. Here's the statement from the band:

Serbian death metallers THROUGH ART signed a deal with Sleaszy Rider and their debut album, entitled ”Kamaswami”, (chronicles the search for a unique collective voice that the band has been on over the last four years) will release in the few next months.
This Belgrade-based five-piece emerged onto the scene in early 2006, consisting of much of the same people playing in the band today. Their sound has evolved steadily since then, though always maintaining a strong link to a modernised death metal style. With fairly frequent releases of new demos, and playing almost every corner of their home country of Serbia, they’ve built a strong reputation within the local metal scene and among fans around the region.

Australian progressive metallers THE SACRED TRUTH signed a deal with Sleaszy Rider and their debut full-length “Reflections Of Tragedy II: The Final Confession” will soon be released.
After their 2009 debut EP “Reflections Of Tragedy”, THE SACRED TRUTH now return with their album “The Final Confession” to finish the concept story they began. The album was produced by Daniel Hutt, Peter Grujevski and Nirmal Peter along with Adam Jordan from Main Street Studios (Tumbleweed, Porcelain, Mammal) and mastered by Ue Nastasi from Sterling Sound (Fear Factory, Still Remains, Killswitch Engage).
From October 2010, the band will take their album on the road with an extensive tour of Australia, New Zealand and Japan will follow, with a tour of Europe in 2011 in the pipeline.
ENCORION | NEW SIGNING
Sleaszy Rider signed a deal with ENCORION, a five headed folk metal horde from the low lands of Holland. Raised from the ashes of old bands and projects, ENCORION found its origin in the winter of 2007. Since then ENCORION has been conquering the stages with strong metal with folk influences, telling stories about battles and forgotten times. Now it is time to present the debut album “Facing History and Ourselves”, (that soon will be released) and to call you to battle!

DESERT | NEW SIGNING
Sleaszy Rider signed a deal with DESERT, a dramatic epic metal band from Israel! After a demo and a self-titled EP, the band recorded their debut full-length album “Star Of Delusive Hopes” that will be released through our label in the few next months. The material was recorded under the supervision of producer Nick Savio (WHITE SKULL, CYBER CROSS, RAINTIME, POWER QUEST) in town of Vicenza, Italy. Joakim Broden, the lead singer of Swedish band SABATON, contributed his vocals to one of the songs - "Lament For Soldier’s Glory (Order 227)". Mix and mastering were done by Andy LaRocque – a legendary Grammy nominated guitarist of KING DIAMOND in his own Sonic Train Studios in Varberg, Sweden.
DESERT plays the HEAVY METAL TEL-AVIV festival at 27 August with SABATON, NIGHTMARE, TIM "RIPPER" OWENS and many more!

TERRITORY | NEW SIGNING
Uruguayan metallers TERRITORY signed a deal with Sleaszy Rider and their debut full-length album will be release later this year.
Territory is a metal band formed in 2008, created by renowned musicians from the local scene and from the beginning they tried to have their own style and sound, different from the bands of their country. The founders of the band worked hard to be something innovative and different, so right now they are the metal band with the most fans in Uruguay.
The band has already made several tours and in addition shows a considerable amount of international character.
In 2009 they released their first EP “Fire Inside”, that got great reviews and feedback.
